Once again, it has been WAY too long since I've stamped. Lots of extra motivation this week though since I had to plan Stamp Club for last night. I was excited to find this sketch at <a href="http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2013/09/mojo-monday-312.html" target="_blank">Mojo Monday</a> :</div>

My <a href="http://sneakystampin.blogspot.com/2013/07/ppa164.html" target="_blank">super simple card</a> (that I wasn't even sure would be uploaded to the PPA challenge in time) was a PPA Pick this week!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Thank you to Susan for picking my card and thank to all the other players for the ideas and inspiration. I'm truly motivated to find more time for sneaky stampin'! <br />
<br />
If you're looking for some inspiration, hop on over to <a href="http://www.palspaperarts.com/" target="_blank">Pals Paper Arts</a> on Thursday to see their next sketch challenge.<br />

<br />
Can't see the paper piercing too well in the pic, but I thought it was just enough to balance out the flower. Still trying to use up some old dp and brads from the last catalog. But again, in an attempt to use up my Summer Smooches dp, I had several pieces of Tangerine Tango. I hopped over to <a href="http://colorlab.mycreateink.com/" target="_blank">My Create, Ink. Colorlab</a> to get some ideas of color combos and was surprised to see how much I liked Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point and Wild Wasabi. Here's what I created with this color combo:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipRJFSnGpHl69f6iP2KU_u5Ft2mvOufL5d5BrJK31UZGjqa_XNk38ljTnUoUTT7i1ISNR66ajyJBYpRJZYCnhx_NQCIifn3kflsK8Z807psuft3Nhz5yhVkg_FNwk3iNd15xX4HDP0gTA/s1600/2013-07-15+07.03.37.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipRJFSnGpHl69f6iP2KU_u5Ft2mvOufL5d5BrJK31UZGjqa_XNk38ljTnUoUTT7i1ISNR66ajyJBYpRJZYCnhx_NQCIifn3kflsK8Z807psuft3Nhz5yhVkg_FNwk3iNd15xX4HDP0gTA/s320/2013-07-15+07.03.37.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Can you see the little "brads" in the top right corners? These are the new self-adhesive Candy Dots that come in each of the SU! Color Collections. Here's one card up close:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJ7pOKUWLQkvQ6BosJPm0uE2rJZlvZ4_-YCHZ9IKSU9vAWPsSdmjex_oMCrvC_qsyjMX6bdUpi8bSlk22rl7KXIP5UgRiLJQD1Z19iu0WkmlBDnGV8XqupoNW7a1CqSu9xy1qXN4guAHQ/s1600/2013-07-15+09.24.36.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJ7pOKUWLQkvQ6BosJPm0uE2rJZlvZ4_-YCHZ9IKSU9vAWPsSdmjex_oMCrvC_qsyjMX6bdUpi8bSlk22rl7KXIP5UgRiLJQD1Z19iu0WkmlBDnGV8XqupoNW7a1CqSu9xy1qXN4guAHQ/s320/2013-07-15+09.24.36.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
Another easy addition to any card - just peel and stick! I added a vase to these flowers by cutting the oval punch to just the right size. But my favorite of this bunch is this one:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjX3-og8Bsz9U6sfsDJWwnJtMxnKO3gzVujksWN7JfyRbdjPLpldP2NT_gGerAqsGj7iSBr2rix39gZFIONSnLUK0Ef6ipT0QYeA9X6Bxf1yawvpZqBjlrebh1Sq-fvkrtgVqRux3_wRU4/s1600/2013-07-15+09.16.17.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjX3-og8Bsz9U6sfsDJWwnJtMxnKO3gzVujksWN7JfyRbdjPLpldP2NT_gGerAqsGj7iSBr2rix39gZFIONSnLUK0Ef6ipT0QYeA9X6Bxf1yawvpZqBjlrebh1Sq-fvkrtgVqRux3_wRU4/s320/2013-07-15+09.16.17.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I love the amount of Pacific Point on this one, as well as the cute little ribbon tying the stems together. This skinny satin ribbon was part of SU!'s Sale-A-Bration promotion earlier this year. I just love it and hope it makes it's way into an upcoming catalog!Michellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10498041055269037277noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1566562126833956852.post-74133787520628505632013-07-16T16:00:00.000-04:002013-07-16T21:36:48.208-04:00More Yellow and BlueI don't know why I have such a hard time mass producing one card. I could have easily done that for the washi tape card I made yesterday, but instead felt the need to mix it up a bit. Not much, as you'll see. One of my problems is that when I find something I really like (in this case the washi tape), I don't want to use it all at once. I know, it's crazy!<br />
<br />
I started with the same dp glued to the Whisper White card base but this time added 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Daffodil Delight (color no longer available in current catalog). I also decided to add a sentiment to these. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSH7O4ywwCev6dWRq5ECoVoWiKPgTNJT0-k0Aa_EbkPogEiTTgeGxSl3dVX191jDNrmBEB-2V_8yJuvoFSTaoXpJmCc21a01mj_XapoGJXjYw9-9JiL_RrETxnExoon0sbDzTyviaXx4E/s1600/2013-07-15+07.02.47.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSH7O4ywwCev6dWRq5ECoVoWiKPgTNJT0-k0Aa_EbkPogEiTTgeGxSl3dVX191jDNrmBEB-2V_8yJuvoFSTaoXpJmCc21a01mj_XapoGJXjYw9-9JiL_RrETxnExoon0sbDzTyviaXx4E/s320/2013-07-15+07.02.47.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Not bad. But the washi tape card is still my favorite!Michellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10498041055269037277noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1566562126833956852.post-16793633872694235852013-07-16T09:55:00.000-04:002013-07-21T10:46:12.545-04:00Dynamic Mojo! - Mojo302, DD#61Trying to get my mojo back has been a little tricky but with the help of some blog hopping, I think I may have found it!<br />
<br />
The sketch over at <a href="http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2013/07/mojo-monday-302.html" target="_blank">Mojo Monday</a> provided a great starting point and then the color combo offered by the <a href="http://thedynamicduoschallenge.blogspot.ca/2013/07/dynamic-duos-61-soft-and-subtle-with.html" target="_blank">Dynamic Duos</a> was sure to get me moving. <br />

I've been most excited about my new Flower Shop Bundle and this sketch gave me the perfect opportunity to use it. Here's the card I came up with:</div>

Thank goodness the team at Dynamic Duos allows the use of neutrals! I was having a very hard time sticking to just the Pink Pirouette and Sahara Sand...I needed the Early Espresso and Very Vanilla to make it POP!<br />

And then there are the new In Colors '13-'15....possibly my favorite In Color Collection ever!!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxA69mOwoTAqjMlZajhHgtlUfFP6fkRtU_NIhNYFO_Z2sYodk3OvCj3zB4DCIoFS85TdIIGcjk274r51nW5h81dEa3saOm_vKbmrXKjQt27fGOo20Liwbetmgdq70YWAlQCNw0y2CxNKk/s1600/2013-07-15+07.04.37.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxA69mOwoTAqjMlZajhHgtlUfFP6fkRtU_NIhNYFO_Z2sYodk3OvCj3zB4DCIoFS85TdIIGcjk274r51nW5h81dEa3saOm_vKbmrXKjQt27fGOo20Liwbetmgdq70YWAlQCNw0y2CxNKk/s320/2013-07-15+07.04.37.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I used Coastal Cabana for the card base, the sentiment, and the Woodgrain. I stamped the Memorable Moments border in Strawberry Slush and after popping the border out with the Labels Collection framelits, I added a Baked Brown Sugar Dotted Scallop Ribbon to the background and a few Beautiful Wings embosslits. Hope you like it!Michellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10498041055269037277noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1566562126833956852.post-90738847781098358192013-07-15T16:00:00.000-04:002013-07-15T16:19:38.338-04:00Something Old, Something NewI was excited to try the new Designer Washi Tape! I'm always looking for EASY embellishments and that's exactly what you get from the Gingham Garden Washi Tape.<br />
<br />
I don't know about you, but every time a new catalog comes out, I get all sorts of new designer papers and forget about all the old ones that are piling up. SU! knows exactly what they are doing when they create their <a href="http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/mgoldner/promotions" target="_blank">promotions</a>...I mean, how can you pass this up?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.stampinup.com/us/documents/Flyer_1up_Buy3DSP_July0113_US.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_"><img border="0" height="244" src="http://www.stampinup.com/us/images/FlyerTH_1up_Buy3DSP_July0113_US.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
So, with new papers on the way, I decided to use up some of that old paper. The Summer Smooches dp from last year's catalog was a perfect match for the Daffodil Delight washi tape. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_lv6KTdaYLhGl5ajIK9cBSwhuzh_23iKc1hvHk0ROiNPk7h-hDQYQLeeMQojWviXwuACcgDcvIZT8e7Tcp5dkhOqDlLytiFw99dWwudsix1ijUIsvB4RyivuGc8K2WR2P0zkNitMfeYI/s1600/2013-07-15+07.02.04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_lv6KTdaYLhGl5ajIK9cBSwhuzh_23iKc1hvHk0ROiNPk7h-hDQYQLeeMQojWviXwuACcgDcvIZT8e7Tcp5dkhOqDlLytiFw99dWwudsix1ijUIsvB4RyivuGc8K2WR2P0zkNitMfeYI/s320/2013-07-15+07.02.04.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The cake is from the Embellished Events stamp set. I stamped it in Island Indigo and created my card but there was something missing. I stamped it again but this time in Daffodil Delight on scrap paper. I cut two cake layers, glued them onto the indigo image, and there I had it- the "something" that was missing. Where to start? It's been so long since my last post, and honestly it's been so long since I've stamped! My three kids are 3, 8, & 11 and lately it seems like someone needs something all the time. Unfortunately this leaves little time for stamping. However, now that I'm on 'summer vacation, I don't mind staying up past everyone's bedtime to get some sneaky stampin' done :)<br />
<br />
I treated myself to several new items from the new <a href="http://su-media.s3.amazonaws.com/media/catalogs/NA/20130601_AC_en-US/HTML/index.html" target="_blank">2013-2014 Idea Book & Catalog</a> and just couldn't wait to start playing! Today I'm showcasing the Stampin' Spritzer. It's a great tool because you can use it with any color. All you need is a few drops of ink and some rubbing alcohol. I chose Rose Red for my spritzer and Whisper White and Basic Gray for my card base and layers. The spritzed color can be lighter or darker depending on how many drops you choose to use.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgy67yx75avGeBiaYTf_nsY5wKvJduBjz_qUoxNt9AaNIOK25Gib-VVAhggesH9eRCApK7P7L9UoE4wISyQ3wTXqzZUEn90xtRnd9H1yMUx_OpCQZ9kUurtibuBVOcSnQ_-m-b0gzcJYms/s1600/2013-07-15+07.05.04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgy67yx75avGeBiaYTf_nsY5wKvJduBjz_qUoxNt9AaNIOK25Gib-VVAhggesH9eRCApK7P7L9UoE4wISyQ3wTXqzZUEn90xtRnd9H1yMUx_OpCQZ9kUurtibuBVOcSnQ_-m-b0gzcJYms/s320/2013-07-15+07.05.04.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I wanted some subtle butterflies in the background so I lightly taped the small ones from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit to the Whisper White and then spritzed all over it. Easy peasy! I attached the large Basic Gray butterfly with a glue dot, added some Basic Jewels Rhinestones, the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes, and voila! Card done! It's been a rough couple months around here. I'm trying to get used to the fact that my 3 year old is no longer napping :( So rather than getting caught up on paperwork while he was at school this morning, I decided it was time to get back to what I enjoy most...Sneaky Stampin'!<br />
<br />
I was so excited to get the Silver Glimmer paper in my order last week, I just couldn't wait to use it! Whenever I've been away from stamping too long, I look for a sketch challenge to get me motivated and to get some mojo back. Thank goodness I found this simple sketch over at <a href="http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2013/03/theres-still-time-to-play.html" target="_blank">Freshly Made Sketches:</a><br />

<br /></div>
It has been forever since I've looked at a challenge. In fact it's been forever since I stamped for my own pleasure! Life, kids, blah blah blah....it's all getting in the way. <br />
<br />
But I was back at it this afternoon and found <a href="http://www.fridaymashup.com/2013/01/fm93-make-wish.html">The Friday Mashup</a> was all about birthdays and brads. Here was the challenge:<br />
<br />

It's Friday. But truth be told, I started this post on Wednesday! I love Wednesdays! <a href="http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2012/08/freshly-made-sketches-47-sketch-by.html">Freshly Made Sketches</a> offers a clean and simple sketch to jump start your creativity every Wednesday. Keep it simple or embellish - it's totally up to you! This week Jennifer T. provided this great sketch:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2012/08/freshly-made-sketches-47-sketch-by.html"><img class="CSS_LIGHTBOX_SCALED_IMAGE_IMG" closure_uid_uytzd2="41" height="925" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NUehMRyWUFU/UBhPfj0cyDI/AAAAAAAALbA/rPGBK9og8b8/s1600/Sketch+47.png" style="height: 342px; width: 233px;" width="631" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Even though I've had several new catalog items for a few weeks now, I still haven't had a chance to play with everything. This sketch seemed like a perfect opportunity to use the new Quint-Essential Flower. I love single stamps like this! They offer so many possibilities, especially with all of the coordinating punches! So here's what I created:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLrHLTFSdTedTDLGFnrAb3XtEbGJJkhpbeMhuhyphenhyphen9DUb9k9d8Rl6XUG6ILO5J9iLedldAEJUa8Jh-pJ4IN_nM5o71pUDoINQWjJnKekNsDL1w6pIvgEYnYAMUDJ06BnWchkoaxd9EsoUss/s1600/FMS.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLrHLTFSdTedTDLGFnrAb3XtEbGJJkhpbeMhuhyphenhyphen9DUb9k9d8Rl6XUG6ILO5J9iLedldAEJUa8Jh-pJ4IN_nM5o71pUDoINQWjJnKekNsDL1w6pIvgEYnYAMUDJ06BnWchkoaxd9EsoUss/s320/FMS.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I'm really enjoying the color combination of Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade and Rich Razzleberry. How about you?</div>

I looked to <a href="http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2012/08/mojo-monday-253-contest.html">Mojo Monday</a> for design inspiration this morning. As soon as I saw the banner across the front of the sketch I knew my Itty Bitty Banners were going to be used along with the Bitty Banners Framelit. Can I just tell you how much I am loving these two?? <br />
<br />
Today's sketch:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I got a card done in time for a challenge! Granted, I'm still working on getting the creative juices flowing, but I'm getting there! <br />
<br />
I saw this sketch at <a href="http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/">Freshly Made Sketches</a> yesterday morning and the simplicity of it grabbed my attention.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Mz5mXwQ-Re8/T-JutRRFFqI/AAAAAAAALQw/qzrZbXREJqY/s1600/Sketch+46.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" closure_uid_ug2rxs="2" height="337" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Mz5mXwQ-Re8/T-JutRRFFqI/AAAAAAAALQw/qzrZbXREJqY/s400/Sketch+46.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
No need for fancy cutting or measuring. Just my Top Note Die, my new Bitty Banners (yay!), and a fancy edge. I still had some scraps on my desk from my last stamp club (which was WAY back in June!) so I decided to incorporate those as well. Here's what I came up with:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-g9IugiYwQyKXgJHFuHzNMNb6_KpeTGNvp__2OfbWM6F3Rl7ubE8N9VAOzG_Ah8z-vJHKU07ZJbkWWhpx2oLPOOWaGtupdrsld4qjI687_DETSQ6DfxlopIQfLXc7ytP-ek9Zlnnn6Qc/s1600/FMS.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-g9IugiYwQyKXgJHFuHzNMNb6_KpeTGNvp__2OfbWM6F3Rl7ubE8N9VAOzG_Ah8z-vJHKU07ZJbkWWhpx2oLPOOWaGtupdrsld4qjI687_DETSQ6DfxlopIQfLXc7ytP-ek9Zlnnn6Qc/s320/FMS.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Not sure if you can tell, but I sprayed the Top Note with my new Stampin' Spritzer. I used Certainly Celery reinker mixed with a little water. I've seen on other blogs that more people are using rubbing alcohol so I may try that next time. The paper curled a bit from the water so I'm curious to see if the same happens with the alcohol. Anyone know? </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<u>Here's what I used:</u></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Stamps: Embellished Events, Itty Bitty Banners</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ink: Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Paper: Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Whisper White</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Punches: Ornament, Scallop Trim Border, 1/2" circle, Top Note (Big Shot), Bitty Banners framelits (Big Shot)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Embellishments: Basic Pearls, Stampin' Spritzer</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

Unfortunately the challenge was due yesterday and I didn't have a chance to submit it. I feel like the card is missing something but at this rate I just needed to have 1 completed card under my belt to get me back into stamping. </p>

Having a 2 yr old boy has been much more difficult than my girls ever were and it's having a HUGE impact on my stamping. For anyone who had been following my posts, please accept my apologies for not keeping up with this. I'm trying to get my mojo back so that I can have some new posts for you. I thought I'd have time this summer but that hasn't been the case. I'm determined to get some done today and hopefully that means some new posts for all of you. WISH ME LUCK!</p>

</div><br />
<br />
Here in MA, we just began our April Vacation week. Thought with school work behind me, I'd be stamping left and right already! Not yet. My little guy has a nasty cold, so all he wants is me...to hold him, to cuddle him, to get him juice. Needless to say, I've been watching lots of Dora with him on my lap. Not exactly how I planned to spend April Vacation!<br />
<br />
Fortunately I scrolled through the <a href="http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2012/04/still-time-to-join-us.html">Freshly Made Sketches challenge</a> and quickly came up with a birthday card. I recently got the Party This Way set and wanted to work it into this card. <br />
<br />
First the sketch:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-bHnALjMjaPw/T2_Dj2N__4I/AAAAAAAAJvg/6THyEdYuTTQ/s1600/Sketch+30.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" class="CSS_LIGHTBOX_SCALED_IMAGE_IMG" closure_uid_ydpzzw="41" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-bHnALjMjaPw/T2_Dj2N__4I/AAAAAAAAJvg/6THyEdYuTTQ/s320/Sketch+30.png" width="206" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Now my take on it:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

One is expecting her 3rd - she clearly didn't take my warnings about the 3rd kid pushing you over the edge - the other is expecting her 5th! <br />
<br />
The <a href="http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2012/03/mojo-monday-233.html">Mojo Monday</a> sketch challenge was just what I needed to keep the creativity flowing this morning. Check out this simple sketch:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAsdIHydSpx5XVGAu93DRq_nUtsTHjS9Kc5VCn_WzGSuKGAYwMGkvHyk-KaMpB4l1YYf053NPv75Zi4W7UChG6qyRK4P-wz3tPLh3TlKl-2chaPZtHGrQdm3vLBKsQwan770ELv7sNNEKZ/s1600/Mojo233Sketch.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="276" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAsdIHydSpx5XVGAu93DRq_nUtsTHjS9Kc5VCn_WzGSuKGAYwMGkvHyk-KaMpB4l1YYf053NPv75Zi4W7UChG6qyRK4P-wz3tPLh3TlKl-2chaPZtHGrQdm3vLBKsQwan770ELv7sNNEKZ/s320/Mojo233Sketch.gif" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I already had my butterfly embosslits die out, so I knew I wanted a large butterfly to be the accent in the upper left. I also came across lots of Concord Crush paper which will be discontinued soon, so I felt the need to use it. Here's my card:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZESng8MAfWR9grCvI4Jwb5RIXEf3L9oAaO-T3HQzGLSqcsutshX53Cuu3vGlOWhwN3dCv7Ag9uWV1X8ei6biVMjWt4waDi0EPaKk3WaFOdyB_ycJsUXpTxSEs2MWLJHHbjwaxk-z80MI/s1600/butterfly.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZESng8MAfWR9grCvI4Jwb5RIXEf3L9oAaO-T3HQzGLSqcsutshX53Cuu3vGlOWhwN3dCv7Ag9uWV1X8ei6biVMjWt4waDi0EPaKk3WaFOdyB_ycJsUXpTxSEs2MWLJHHbjwaxk-z80MI/s1600/butterfly.jpg" /></a></div><br />

It's been quite a while since my last post. For anyone who works in a school, you know how crazy report card season is. As a therapist I'm lucky in that I don't have to do report cards for a classroom of 20 something kids. Instead I have the pleasure of writing progress notes on the 20 something kids that I work with. Sprinkle in a couple of evaluations, and voila....a recipe for lots of paperwork at home and no time for fun. But it all ended on Friday! :)<br />
<br />
<br />
My first stop this morning was at Stamping 411 to see what the <a href="http://stamping411.blogspot.com/2012/03/saturday-sketch-challenge-247.html">Saturday Sketch Challenge</a> was. This is what I found:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUVMy5goAm7SsOhmttlDGPXTXYbRAYNoCy-aC5f_wMVno7wrpjKk1PmPo9U4c1KMdX9-Z8PJTwhYWbw20v2AIUR6GsAhJPbdl1_MN0dHPeTb5LnERusmiMHFGD-6l2aiYMHvgnn6I8kq8S/s1600/SSC_247.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" class="CSS_LIGHTBOX_SCALED_IMAGE_IMG" closure_uid_80x1or="39" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUVMy5goAm7SsOhmttlDGPXTXYbRAYNoCy-aC5f_wMVno7wrpjKk1PmPo9U4c1KMdX9-Z8PJTwhYWbw20v2AIUR6GsAhJPbdl1_MN0dHPeTb5LnERusmiMHFGD-6l2aiYMHvgnn6I8kq8S/s320/SSC_247.jpg" width="247" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I just found out that a couple of friends are expecting, so I thought my cards today would be for them. Here's what I came up with:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf4lGfVIbjfF3bLDeAnNfHlLsL3DLeWu7uooZkgk3B5XU0Ejk-jhoKTsXxKDGixVOkAVsL9Xgpj3_5P4Kyfr1yE5EQSpht8a8lgbUQPO3Xfa5euK3jb0HjKyEw0jUdHp8z5hDc4kfTef4/s1600/flower.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf4lGfVIbjfF3bLDeAnNfHlLsL3DLeWu7uooZkgk3B5XU0Ejk-jhoKTsXxKDGixVOkAVsL9Xgpj3_5P4Kyfr1yE5EQSpht8a8lgbUQPO3Xfa5euK3jb0HjKyEw0jUdHp8z5hDc4kfTef4/s320/flower.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I originally just had the flower but was feeling like it needed a little something in the top left to balance out the button in the bottom right. I decided to add the butterfly. Not sure that the placement was quite what I was looking for. Thoughts, anyone?</div><br />

One more day of work (I only work on Tuesdays and Thursdays) and then it's the weekend again! And another Wednesday means another <a href="http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/">Freshly Made Sketch</a> challenge!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2012/02/freshly-made-sketches-22-sketch-by.html"><img border="0" closure_uid_5udpqr="2" height="272" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7vDMlCiTzn0/Tx9cVsBDvWI/AAAAAAAAIew/gh0wHleBTEk/s320/Sketch+22.png" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Was excited to use another "Packed for..." stamp today so I decided to make a baby card. I just love using the spotlight technique with these stamps. So here's what I came up with:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_Gwqsb21UMxSlvKZgHPmvTw7kakWuUYWtvbImIkfQtR6a1c9eJs7j_LJ4dTjlf1rQiPLdZs0BfQbwC5VrQTNwckndLu3dkmCR1KsRmX4aForPRhIYcOa3Z8340XSCdeUWzr-Xb0cqKpQ/s1600/photo2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_Gwqsb21UMxSlvKZgHPmvTw7kakWuUYWtvbImIkfQtR6a1c9eJs7j_LJ4dTjlf1rQiPLdZs0BfQbwC5VrQTNwckndLu3dkmCR1KsRmX4aForPRhIYcOa3Z8340XSCdeUWzr-Xb0cqKpQ/s320/photo2.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

<br />
My husband and I are not ones to swap gifts on Valentine's Day. I usually just make him a card and he usually buys one for me, last minute, on his way home from work Valentine's night. This year was no different. He brought home some Valentine Mike & Ike's for the girls. They said they'd rather get the conversation heart candies. He said he was looking for those but the selection was minimal at 7pm. Oh well....I regress.<br />
<br />
I knew when I saw the <a href="http://stamping411.blogspot.com/2012/02/saturday-sketch-challenge-242.html">Saturday Sketch Challenge</a> on Stamping 411, I'd be using it for my husband's card. It was a simple sketch:<br />
<div class="post-header"> <div class="post-header-line-1"></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhz874laODG_VHC-pmW3LemOjajprOCGeORlstmrf2WckQOLy5sostCeXmoIvqjbwzpMBvBchHzXiLcVLIw1s-Nu7NxAIOm-_zRExSNMz-lteq5pEXSfOK15ebwrsV8GuHgkT6bshfaz5Wp/s1600/SSC242.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_uid_f41oif="2" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhz874laODG_VHC-pmW3LemOjajprOCGeORlstmrf2WckQOLy5sostCeXmoIvqjbwzpMBvBchHzXiLcVLIw1s-Nu7NxAIOm-_zRExSNMz-lteq5pEXSfOK15ebwrsV8GuHgkT6bshfaz5Wp/s320/SSC242.jpg" width="244" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I tried to keep it simple and not use too many embellishments. I clearly left out the flower button. What do you think?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
